First a big thank you to the fellas that cooked lunch for everyone.

Mike Valdez

Thank you to the Valdez family for cooking the beans and potato salad.

The association appreciates those that attended this first ever barbecue cook off.
We hope to move this education and barbecue back to January next year so if you are a
barbecue cooking guru start thinking about your entry!

This year we had a tie for top barbecuing dog. Congratulations to Bob Ducote and Mike Valdez.
Each received a $100.00 gift card from our title sponsor Helena.

Thank you Helena for your sponsorship and support.

Volunteer Opportunities – WGC Dell Match Play

Ladies and Gentlemen,

First off I would like to sincerely thank all of you who volunteered for the 2016 WGC Dell Match Play last year. We had a fantastic tournament with more accolades from Players, Tour officials, NBC, and fans, than I can count, and it could not have been accomplished without you and the time you gave. Our CTGCSA chapter came out and supported this event in many ways last year and I couldn’t have been more proud.

Below is the link to register to volunteer for the 2017 WGC Dell Technologies Match Play. I hope all of you can find time this year to volunteer for this special event. The PGA TOUR, Dell Inc., and Austin Country Club donated more than 1 million dollars between 5 charities. To me, that makes it all worthwhile…. Again, thanks for your time, and I look forward to seeing you all here again this year.”
